Whether through one-on-one meetings, supportive phone calls, or our monthly group sessions, Burn Survivors of New England is dedicated to providing a profound sense of hope, inspiration, and guidance to individuals in all stages of their burn recovery journey. Our peer support program serves as a powerful space, bringing together individuals who share a common bond through their burn experiences. It's about one survivor extending a helping hand to another, navigating the challenging terrain of burn trauma together.

"We bring someone hope. There’s no prescription for that.”
- George Pessotti, Burn Survivor and Peer Supporter
Important changes have been implemented for our in-person individual inpatient support services for burn survivors and their families due to the impact of COVID. Despite the restrictions at certain partnering hospitals such as Spaulding Rehabilitation, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Brigham and Women's Hospital, both in the Boston area, as well as Hasbro Hospital in Rhode Island, we continue to provide individual inpatient support. Caregivers are encouraged to reach out to schedule a virtual inpatient meeting. If you are aware of a burn survivor or a family member in need of support, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!
